   ano ba yan puro revival na naman… i know this group knows what “originality” means, but i don’t think they know how IMPORTANT originality is…especially to the OPM industry.

   History repeats itself ganoon din sa songs. paano muling sisikat yung mga old opm song kung walang revival. Congrats sa MYMP! at sa ibang artist na nagrerevive ng mga lumang kanta. Mabuhay kayo!

   Well, oks lang sa akin ang revivals, basta’t hindi nasasakal or namamatay, or nawawalan ng chance ang original song writers. Most producers nowadays kasi prefer to do albums or release singles na revival/ covers kaysa originals because they believe that they’d make money faster, mas papatok, and less risky sa pera. I’d give credit to MYMP’s beautiful renditions of classic hits, but I’d worry over the “trend” that they have made…not with the masses, but with the producers and the whole local music scene.

   Honestly, I love the songs…. but I don’t like the band I think albums like this is unfair for others who put their mind in writing original pilipino music.

   one, two or three revivals in a album can be tolerated but to make an album with almost all the singles in it are revivals i don’t think that’s fair They’re making money in the expense of other’s hard thought composition! Do you guys know how many rendition of “Only Reminds Me Of You” are out there in the market today?

   THREE! (I’m sure there’s more, I’m just not aware of it yet).

   there is a rendition from MYMP, Christian Bautista and Jed Madela. why revived the same song over and over again in just a span of 1 year?

   i agreed to kuya! wala po sanang magagalit but i dont like the idea of revival pati na sa mga movie! para sa kin, it only shows na mas magagaling yun mga tao nun! hey people of today! ipakita at ilabas nyo/natin ang galing natin! kung ang technology nag-iimprove, sana ganun din sa mga movie and songs!

   Agree din. Guys, check nyo yung third avenue , good example. Kung sino man producer nila, bilib din ako for taking d risk. And yes, may revival sila, but listen to how they re-made Rannie Raymundo’s song, may “hustisya” ika nga. At magaganda mga orig. It;s about time na pagbigyan uli ng mga producers ang mga original song writers (aside from rock bands, pero buti nga sila puro din orig) GO OPM!

   I refuse to believe na “walang kwenta” yung mga comments above, and I find your statement very UNEDUCATED. I don’t think na nainira lang yung mga nag-post about MYMP’s revivals. And true, MAGANDA ang pagkaka-revive nila, maganda ang boses ni Juris. However, I believe the people above were simply stating certain FACTS regarding the NEGATIVE EFFECTS of “over-reviving” songs, specially in the case of MYMP. To say na “walang kwenta” ang pagkaka-sakal ng mga bagong song writers is just plain stupid.

   Revived songs makes our generation aware of what music sounds like decades ago. I believe this is good for the music industry and also to the music lovers. And almost everyone do revivals. So in general, I have nothing against them and revived old songs.

   Like what I said in my first comment, I love the songs na nirerevive ng MYMP simply because magaganda talaga yung mga songs na nirerevive nila. But its wrong to think na pinapasikat nila yung awitin dahil in essence sikat na yung kanta even before they revived it. In other words, sila yung pinapasikat nung kanta… it’s not the other way around. I respect those artist who made it to the main stream dahil sa mga original compositions nila.

   There is no doubt that this duo can really sing, the only problem is that they lack the skills to compose their own songs. And to make an album with no originals, don’t you think its too much?

   I know MYMP has their own shares of followers sa music industry, don’t be furious if ever you’ll see the comments here. Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion.

    uhm to settle things… those who want revivals,check on MYMP’s revivals and those who root for originals check on their original cuts

    I would wish to hear a single, just a single MYMP original that would be more popular than their revival. I’m tired of hearing a corrupted version of an original. Besides, there is no acknowledgment from the band whatsoever of the original artist. Kids even think MYMP originally composed them.

    They’re actually better than those newly made songs nowadays,….
    I request to please keep up the good work and introduce other revived songs that will make our hearts struck again…
